Blood cancer is one of the most prominent cancer type leading to deaths globally. It is the condition in which abnormal blood cell production takes place in the bone marrow. AVOID HARMFUL CHEMICALS AND RADIATIONS – Consuming fruits, vegetables and dairy products that are contaminated with chemical substances like insecticides or pesticides could prove to be harmful to your blood. Chemicals like formaldehyde which is found in building materials and benzene, found in gasoline and used in industries further increase the risk.

High dose of radiation exposure during medical therapies could be harmful, for example, exposure to particular chemotherapies during previous cancer treatments. Generations of people who witnessed Hiroshima and Nagasaki bomb attacks suffered from leukemia, a renown blood cancer type.

Getting involved in some physical activity can reduce the chances of accumulating weight. It can also make your hormone levels better and also increase the immune system efficiency. New recommendations call for at least 150 minutes of moderate intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous activity over a week for an adult. Vigorous activities involve the movement of large muscle groups, faster breathing, quick heartbeats, and sweating. Exercising daily for half-an-hour may reduce the chances of cancer, apart from having other health benefits. Leading institutions recommend that people with a normal body mass index (BMI) have a good chance of fighting cancer.

STRENGTHEN IMMUNITY – Immunity is the in-built mechanism of our body to fight against infections, parasites, and micro-organisms. There exist some immune system cells that recognize and kill abnormal cells that can lead to cancer. To strengthen your immunity, it is advisable to avoid stress and addictions, take adequate rest and balanced-diet, exercise on some regular basis and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
