Career
Most of the songs sung by him are in Hindi and Punjabi language. Early in his career, he performed at many college fests.
He started his Bollywood career with a song in the movie “Shakal pe mat jaa”. His song “Angreji Beat” was featured in “Cocktail”. Later, his songs got featured in the movies “Chennai Express” and ” Boss” respectively. In 2015, his song “Birthday Bash” was released, followed by his songs for the movies “Gabbar Is Back” and “Bhaag Johnny”.
later in 2016, he met with a car accident which disappeared him from the media for 2 years. He made a comeback in 2018 with “Makhna”. Then his songs were featured in the movies “Baazaar” and “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety”.
He also tried his luck in acting in some movies. But his songs were always a hit. His tracks were always played on DJ at various parties and functions. No one can ignore the beat of his music.

Honey Singh was usually in controversies due to the lyrics of some of his songs which depict violence and disrespect against women. Some lyrics made women an object. He was in major controversy during the 2012 Delhi gang rape case due to his violent lyrical songs. His song “Party All Night” was also banned from releasing due to such controversies. Later in 2014, he had a controversy with singer “Raftaar” over the lyrics of the song “Yeh Fugly Fugly Kya Hai”.
